List five things for which you are truly thankful this week.
That's it! Easy, right?

1) I am so very thankful for antibiotics. As I was doling out the doses to the kiddos the other day, they began to muse about the days, long ago, (although not very) when there WASN'T medicine such as today. That led to recanting all of the surgeries, diseases, and urgent health crises we've had in our family over the years...and how almost ALL of us would not have survived without proper medicine. THANK YOU, LORD, for medicine!

2) I'm also thankful for my laptop. It was my dear Dad's. He gave it to me not long before he died. I haven't the heart to change the "main user" name from "Pap" which is how he had it set. I LOVE seeing that there when I log on and I love holding this in my lap and thinking of all the fun the kids and I had emailing back and forth with him while he was still alive. I miss him SO VERY MUCH but I'm glad to have this little item that was his. THANK YOU, LORD!

3) I'm thankful for my late-evening time when everyone's asleep and I can get work done on my website, visit Facebook, read blogs, and watch shows such as, "Downton Abbey" or a documentary or old film that makes me smile. I just love having a little snack, perhaps some wine...and curling up (with my laptop, again!) to indulge in a little relaxation after a busy day. THANK YOU, LORD!

4) I'm thankful for the Creation Science Expo that we're attending online this week. We've heard some wonderful speakers and have learned so much! THANK YOU, LORD!

5) Hot tomato soup with little oyster crackers...mmmm....sure warms a tummy on a cold winter's day:)
THANK YOU, LORD!

What are YOU thankful for this week?

Your list is great. I love tomato soup. #2 warms my heart and I feel the same way about #3!

LOVE tomato soup and oyster crackers! And I love those little moments either early morning or late night when I get just a few minutes to myself to get some of those things like facebook, twitter, and tv shows in! Hope your week is full of blessings!

I really like this post. It's so sweet that you keep "Pap" on the laptop. The Science Expo sounds fantastic.

Tomato soup is a favorite of mine and the crackers are a must.

So happy to be sharing blessings with you all!

Susan, the Expo IS fantastic. If you visit the Ultimate Homeschool Expo page on Facebook, you can get a free link...when you listen to the talks LIVE, they are FREE! (If you're not on FB let me know and I can email you a link if you are interested in listening...there are still a few talks left!)
Today's talk was about the connection and significant role that Darwinism played in "racism" and "Nazi-ism" of the modern world. It was a very sobering, yet fascinating seminar.

Kristen, praying for God's blessing upon YOUR week, as well! Thanks!

You list of blessings brings a smile to my face! I don't blame you for not changing the user name on your laptop. How special to have the memories it holds for you.

And #1 is so true! I love how you were able to make a lesson about medicine for your children! Hooray for homeschooling!

I'm sorry so late posting. Love your list Judy. I am on antibiotics too for a severe cold.
