ANYWAY...I AM glad you are here...and I AM glad to pause a moment and GIVE THANKS TO GOD for the many blessings He has given me this week.
You can participate by writing five things you are thankful for in a post and using Mr. Linky down below to send us to your entry. Paste the image above in your post, as well; and offer your readers a link back here.
OR...if you don't have a blog...just use the comment section to add your list:)
1) Though we have 8 kids on medication for strept and pneumonia this week...and as strange as it might seem...I am giving THANKS to God for their good health. What I mean is...they are "under the weather" with an infection , AT THIS TIME...but...they are not chronically or terminally ill in ANY way and usually have EXCELLENT health. It is a privilege and honor for me to tend to them while they have been so sick this week...and it has just made me all the more grateful for their everyday, all around good health. THANK YOU, LORD!
2) I am very thankful for the two, new cookie sheets my husband got for me. WOW! I forgot what it was like to put something in the oven and NOT have it "stick" to the pan! "Top notch kitchen supplies" has never been part of my life...more like: any cheap utensil I can grab at the Dollar or grocery stores. Fabulous kitchenware is one of those things that I always say I'd get "if I had a million dollars", LOL I DO have some wonderful appliances like a food processor and set of knives, etc...that my parents gave to us as gifts...but I haven't had new cookie sheets in about 20 years. THANK YOU, LORD!
3) My son, who, although he is married and has two small babies of his own to care for...made sure that he called to let me know that he would be off of work today should I need anything for his brothers and sisters while they are ill. THANK YOU, LORD!
4) The Mass. Padre Pio once said that the world could more easily survive "without the sun" than it could without the Mass. That pretty much sums it up for me. THANK YOU, LORD!
5) My eldest daughter's "Erma Bombeck-esque" sense of humor. Sometimes, she will just "cut to the chase" so-to-speak, and say things in such a way that I am left laughing for a half an hour after I hang up the phone.
I keep telling her to write a book. Perhaps, someday, she will :) THANK YOU, LORD!
Ok. Do tell.
What wonderful things has God blessed you with this week?
BTW, I started a new Tuesday meme yesterday...if you didn't get a chance to check it out...scroll down after you're done with this one and take a look. I'd love for you to participate!

Those cookie sheets are major in my book! We got some new ones last fall and what a positive difference they have made. Giving thanks for my kids' good health. Battling colds and asthma, but we are so fortunate it could be worse and we could be in a country without any access to the medicines they need.
I'm so sorry your family is sick right now & I will definitely continue prayers that all will be well soon, esp. Benjamin.
You've got a wonderful list of thanksgiving this week! I have to admit...I'm a bit envious of the new cookie sheets! Enjoy them!
LOVE #4.
It is a delight to get new kitchenware. You're blessed to have the wise perspective that your children are sick with curable, rather than chronic illnesses.
I just love your list. In fact I am humbled by it. I will keep you and your children in my prayers. Hope Benjamin is better soon! Absolutely LOVE #4.
I forgot about your Tuesday meme. Will check it out! God bless!
Kristen, I'm with you! I can't believe what a difference a "good" cookie sheet makes!Who knew? You have mentioned something that my husband always prays aloud for with our children...he always thanks God that we live in America where we can get medicine and medical care when needed. Thanks for sharing thanks with me in this meme:)
Munchesmom, thanks for the prayers...we are on the mend now:)
What a blessing to see the kids EAT today and to feel cool cheeks on faces instead of 104+ temps as previously!
Susan~ we almost lost our daughter Laura a few years ago; and going through that experience made me ever-mindful of the blessings of good health:)
Colleen, glad you enjoyed my list of blessings and I'm glad you like the new meme, too!
