It is late at night here in my corner of the world.
My children are sleeping nearby me.
They are on the mend but still not recovered from their illnesses.
I am happy to be having...a nice, cold beer! So refreshing after a long, busy day of tending to our "patients" and washing load after load of laundry to kill germs.
My cup is...::giggles:: a 12 oz bottle!
I am feeling...a little tired but very happy and content.
On my mind...how sweet the breathing and soft snoring of children is when they sleep:)

Yes, sweet indeed is the sound of sleeping children. I know you are enjoying much of that sound.

Hello, dear Ruth! I am thinking of you "in your kitchen" and how you are missing your niece :) I know, however, that you will enjoy your new pace/state in life as you are a person who finds JOY in all that she is called to do! I DID enjoy my "12 oz bottle" LOL And, I love what you say about Mary, the mother of Jesus.
I often marvel at the fact that she was so willing, even without knowing/understanding the ramifications and implications of her own reply...she knew not what lie ahead (with regard to how she would personally be affected) and yet, she SO WILLINGLY offered herself as a servant of God!
