My wonderful friend Karinann, had this posted on her Daughter of the King blog a couple days ago:
If you could witness any moment in Christ's life, what would it be? You get to choose three. This is a wonderful meditative exercise.
Here are the rules for Michael's meme:
- To make this a bit easier, you can choose 3 one-hour time periods. (Your "top 3", if you will)
- To make things harder, you cannot choose His birth or any time period from the Last Supper on.
- If you have a blog, post this question and rules and answer it there. If you would rather not spend a post quenching my curiosity, or if you do not have a blog, feel free to post your answer in the comments section here.
- Go to Reach Paradise (link below) and leave Michael a comment with a link to your post.
- Tag 3 other people to do the same.
The "Michael" Karinann mentioned above is to be found here: REACH PARADISE BLOG

As for my three moments...I am having trouble with this because I feel so overwhelmed at trying to FATHOM my unworthy and wretched self actually being physically present before Christ on earth...but...here goes:
1) I would like to spend one hour with Jesus as a toddler...on an ordinary day, as He bumbled about His mother's knee, picking up Joseph's tools, playing with sticks and stones, and crawling up onto Mary's lap to drift off to sleep...oh how VERY PRECIOUS that hour would be!!!
2) I would like to have been there when Our Lord met Peter for the first time...wherein Peter exchanged a few disgruntled words, not wishing to cast out again after having come back empty-handed the first time...and then, deciding, for whatever reason, to DO AS HE TOLD HIM...only to come to a realization out on those waters that THIS MAN WAS NO ORDINARY MAN...thus, the beginning of the relationship of the SAVIOR and HIS FIRST PRIEST...my oh my, what a moment that must have been!!
3) For some strange reason, I have ALWAYS wanted to dine with Jesus and Zacchaeus!!!
I know we've heard the story time and time again...but I would like to hear the ACTUAL conversation...I would like to BE there, as this lowly, sneaky tax collector, welcomes JESUS CHRIST across his threshold...breaks bread with Him...and then...for the first and most TRUE moment of his own life...FINDS MERCY...FINDS REAL LOVE AND TRUE MERCY...that self-realization, that remorse, that confession, that FORGIVENESS, and that resolve to amend a life...and then...oh then...THE CELEBRATION AND JOY OVER DINNER...yes, I'd like to have been there for sure!!!
Thanks Karinann and Michael, this was a wonderful reflection!
If you weren't tagged here, please know that I offer a standing WELCOME to anyone who wishes to participate and I look forward to reading your posts!

Judy,
These are great moments. I have to admit dining with Jesus and Zacchaeus would be a very interesting dinner party. In your moment with Peter, I am brought back to that very scene in the movie Jesus of Nazareth and the amused look the actor who portrayed Jesus has on his face upon that meeting.
Glad you joined in the fun and meditation.
Those were so awesome Mrs. Dudich! I love your first best... I want to see Jesus as a little child playing around :). Maybe when he's just starting to talk... I wonder what he'd say?
I love your moments. You describe them so beautifully. Thanks for the tag!
