Blessings for the Day blog is a lovely place to spend some time.
There you will find Karinann, you kind hostess for today's meme.
Link to her post by clicking this image in my sidebar and let us know where you have felt the presence of JESUS in your life this week.
The Touch of Our Savior's Hand came to me when I was called upon to help the children in our parish who have been preparing to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We like to give them a little tour of the insides of the confessionals so that they are comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I was asked to go over to Father's side and "play his part" as each child entered to practice their confessions. (Of course, they did NOT tell me their real sins!) I felt the Touch of Jesus there...I had never been on the priest's side before...and as I read through the words that he normally says to ME...I was given a sense of what it must be like for a priest and for JESUS.
I listened to the voices of these dear children...and it occurred to me, that it must be a heavy burden to hear the sins of others. Yet, as I sat there praying for God to bless and help each of His little ones learn and prepare...I could feel Our Lord there with me...ready and waiting to FORGIVE us all...I know that He was there with us...and I know that each time I sin...I need only come to Him as these little children will...trusting...and confident...in the name of Jesus...to seek and receive MERCY AND FORGIVENESS.

What a gift to be able to experience the Lord through the children that way! All I can think of is how we need to become like little children in order to enter the kingdom! Great post.
